Winter Park Resort Opens for Summer: Winter Park Resor't summer hours of operation are 10am through 5:30pm, 7 days a week, from June 12 through September 6, 2010 (Labor Day) - and the same hours weekends from September 10-26. Ticket windows open at 9:30am. The Zephyr Express Chairlift closes at 5pm, while other activities close at 5:30pm.

Fraser Fireworks:The Fraser Valley Fourth of July Celebrations is a community event that draws over 4,000 Grand County residents and guests through the course of the day.

Frser Valley Run for Independence: 5-mile run / walk from Winter Park Resort to Fraser along the scenic Fraser River Trail with an elevation loss of 650 feet. Runners, wheelchair racers, walkers, stroller-pushers all welcome.
